feeling foggy is a melancholic trip through the spectrum of emotions experienced during grief and despair. the flow of the fog is as fickle and unpredictable as the intensity of the pain. expressing feelings of sadness, numbness, exhaustion and emptiness in photographs has been helpful to navigate the mental states associated with traumatic loss. although the pain never really eases, it became at least less agonizing with time.

photographs were captured handheld as single exposures and have been enhanced into cool monochromes. salt prints toned with gold chloride are envisioned for this collection.
